Dear Homeschooler,
What a unique and challenging time we’re in. How are you? How is your family holding up? We know for many of us, this has been a season to slow down and appreciate the simple things we tend to take for granted with busy schedules. That can be both a blessing and a challenge. With two little ones, it has been hard not to have things we normally rely on, like the library and the park to help us though our days. At the same time, we normally travel to conventions over the course of spring and summer so it has been a nice change of pace to be home. We miss seeing our friends on the road and getting to encourage homeschool families in person, but we are glad to have this extra time together.
That brings us to the subject at hand… With all the convention cancellations, we have been pondering how to distribute the next issue of the magazine. We decided to move forward by printing this issue for our subscribers and getting the digital version out for free to help as many families as possible through this season! We really believe this is a win/win for everyone. We hope you agree with us!
We pray you and your family are among the healthy and that you‘re able to slow down and savor the opportunity to spend some precious time together. I have really loved seeing so many families in our neighborhood relaxing on their front porches and playing in their yards. It brings back fond memories of when I was a kid.
Without further ado, here is the next issue of Homeschooling Today. We hope it is a blessing to you and that you’ll enjoy the lesson suggestions, freebies, and heartfelt messages of encouragement inside.
We’re in this together!
